Only the first entry exists before you decide. It is not a cookie but a local-storage value, and it is strictly necessary in the ordinary sense of the word: it is the thing that stops the banner asking you the same question on every page. Google may set further cookies of its own once analytics is running; the authoritative list is Google's.
How the choice works
The Google Analytics script is not loaded when the page loads. It is fetched only after you press Allow, which means declining is not a matter of trusting us to switch something off — the code that would contact Google never runs.
We considered Google Consent Mode, which loads the tag immediately with storage disabled, and rejected it. A site that self-hosts its fonts specifically to avoid third-party requests should not then make one on every page view for a visit counter.
Changing your mind
Use the Analytics control in the footer of any page. It clears your stored choice and brings the banner back, so you can answer differently. Withdrawing is deliberately no harder than accepting.
You can also clear site data for humanize.health in your browser settings, which removes the stored choice and any analytics cookies at the same time. Browsers additionally offer global controls for blocking cookies, and this site works normally with all of them enabled.
